Gymnastics Director, Dallas, TX

We’re currently seeking a Gymnastics Director to lead our client’s dynamic Gymnastics Department located in Dallas, TX. If you possess a college degree in a related field, CPR/First Aid certification, and a minimum of 2 years of management experience in the relevant field, we want to hear from you!

The Gymnastics Director is responsible for maintaining all operations of the Gymnastics Department. This position manages the full and part-time staff for both the Recreational and Team Gymnastics departments and is instrumental in creating and implementing top-level programming under the direction of the General Manager of Sports, Fitness & Wellness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Gymnastics Department

  • Hire, train, manage, schedule, and evaluate full and part-time coaches as well as contract coaches and gymnastics staff on established customer service guidelines, business procedures, and protocols. Training staff and contractors to work appropriately with all age groups to provide a safe and secure program, and to maintain a positive attitude when dealing with members and other staff.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate special classes, programs, and teams for children & teens.
  • Responsible for the overall measurable year-to-year growth of the gymnastics department through recruiting and retaining program participants.
  • Develop marketing strategy for gymnastics in cooperation with our client’s Marketing Department including primed promotion materials as well as social media and online advertisements.
  • Develop, monitor, and reconcile budgets for classes, programs, and leagues for children, teens, adults, and older adults.

Gymnastics Camp

  • Direct service oversight of Gymnastics Summer Camp.
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and supervision of part-time/contract coaches and counselors.
  • Training staff and contractors to work appropriately with all age groups to provide a safe and secure program, to maintain a positive attitude when dealing with members and other staff, and to be customer service oriented.

Requirement

  • College degree in related area preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management with experience in the related field preferred.
