Position Overview
Join a dynamic leadership team at our client’s leading Athletic Club in the Pacific Northwest. This role is integral to their vision of transforming lives through a whole-person approach to fitness and wellness. Unlike traditional corporate setups, they offer an independent, community-focused environment.
Our client is looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the gym’s performance, seizing the opportunities for growth and improvement, and increasing membership sales.
Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)
- Achieve a minimum of 25% quarterly revenue growth in Personal Training, Small Group Training, and Group Fitness.
- Grow fitness team by 100% and group exercise team by 25%, while also growing team efficiency by at least 20%, as measured by client satisfaction and revenue per employee.
- Example Deliverable: Acquire at least 30 new high-value clients each quarter and achieve a client retention rate of 90% or higher.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Ownership to advance the club’s industry excellence.
- Able to effectively receive and implement instructions, demonstrating a strong commitment to the company’s established strategic plan by taking personal responsibility for achieving company objectives.
- Oversee Group Fitness, Personal Training, and Small Group Training teams.
- Lead program development efforts based on a comprehensive understanding of market needs and financial viability.
- Required to maintain a growth mindset, continuously staying updated with the latest developments in wellness and human behavior science and trends, especially in the context of a fitness gym.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to interpret business performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree: advanced degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in business growth and revenue generation.
- Proven capability in P&L and budget management.
- Required Certifications: NASM, ACE, NCSA, CPT, CPR-AED.
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: $75K-$85 Base plus upside and benefits
