About the Studio Operations Manager Position

We are conducting a search for a Studio Operations Manager within our client’s boutique fitness studio located in the Santa Cruz Metro area. The ideal candidate they are looking for is an individual who is passionate about the health and fitness industry, is results-oriented, loves seeing how their efforts contribute to an ever-expanding bottom line and is fueled by continuously contributing to the improved day-to-day operation of the studio. Their facility is one of the largest, all-heated boutique studios in Santa Cruz County proving hot power yoga, hot Pilates, hot yoga sculpt, hot Barre, TRX, 20/20/20, and indoor cycling all under one roof.

Requirments

Previous experience in Studio Management in the fitness industry including three years of management, and 1 year of human resource experience. A bachelor’s degree in business administration and experience with MINDBODY software is a plus. Must be tech-savvy, able to multitask, and perform with a high level of attention to detail.

Duties and Responsiblities

  • Overseeing and managing the daily operation of the studio – ensuring classes are taking place on time and delivered with excellence, the staff is performing their responsibilities efficiently and effectively, and the studio’s high standards for cleanliness and premium service are always maintained.
  • Managing student memberships, ensuring all students are signed in under correct class passes, and handling backend account management in MINDBODY.
  • Overseeing the effective management of sensitive student-related issues
  • Monitoring and, if necessary, troubleshooting equipment essential to the daily operation of the studio
