General Manager, Central Pennsylvania
Objective: Our client is seeking a high-performing General Manager to revitalize their fitness facility, with a particular focus on maximizing the potential of their underutilized pool area and restructuring membership pricing to enhance profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Assess and restructure membership pricing to ensure competitive rates and profitability.
- Revitalize the pool area, including improved maintenance, programming, and promotion to increase usage and revenue.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Lead, motivate, and oversee a team of fitness professionals and support staff.
- Implement marketing and community engagement initiatives to raise the gym’s profile and market presence.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and report to management on progress towards profitability targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in gym management or a related field, with a track record of growing business and enhancing profitability.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
