Health Club | General Manager Position | $75-85K+ | ABQ New Mexico
About the Role
We are seeking a General Manager for our client located in Albuquerque, NM, to lead club operations, financial performance, and team development. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a passion for fitness, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive results. The General Manager plays a key role in ensuring a top-tier member experience while managing revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily club operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while driving high employee and member satisfaction.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of department managers and staff.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor team members to support club success.
- Maintain open communication with regional and corporate leadership to align with company strategy.
- Manage budgets, track financial performance, and drive revenue growth.
Qualifications
- A results-driven leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- 2+ years of experience as a General Manager in a multi-faceted health club (e.g., aquatics, personal training, group fitness, racquet sports, spa).
- 5+ years in the fitness industry with a proven leadership track record.
- Strong expertise in business operations, financial management, and expense control.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and high-energy work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation – $75-$85K, plus a comprehensive benefits package, and a relocation allowance
