Assistant Gymnastics Director, NY

Our client located in New York is seeking to hire an Assistant Gymnastics Manager to join their Gymnastics Department. This role reports to the Director of Gymnastics and works closely with Gymnastics Team Directors, coaches, the registration office, and customers.

As the Assistant Gymnastics Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Create team meet schedules with Team Directors and send schedules to families
  • Communicate with host gyms ahead of meets for all planning and logistics (identify travel logistics, confirm registration procedures, etc.)
  • Research and book all meet travel needs (flight/car and hotel) and maintain organized spreadsheet of all costs and dates
  • Manage successful meet registration process between host gym and Field House Controller
  • Maintain proactive, clear, consistent communication with all team families regarding fees, practice schedules, meet schedules, parent Zoom meetings (as requested by Head Coaches)
  • Complete team practice schedules for review and approval in timely manner
  • Create registration welcome emails for all team families prior to fall season
  • Develop and clearly communicate rotations for all rec coaches/classes
  • Create annual calendar for professional development training for all team coaches and ensure successful completion of training sessions
  • Communicate and post rotations for Gymnastics Program
